About the Opportunity A growing higher education institution based in Sydney is seeking a highly motivated Marketing & Digital Communications Intern to join the team for a 3-month internship placement.
This is not a traditional marketing internship focused only on social media posting. We are looking for someone with strong creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a genuine interest in digital strategy, communication, AI tools, and brand growth.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, support digital communication initiatives, and gradually take ownership of parts of the marketing strategy across different platforms. High-performing interns may also be considered for future employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of digital communication and marketing strategies
- Assist with SEO research and website content optimisation
- Create engaging content for social media, blogs, and student communications
- Support branding, campaign planning, and audience engagement activities
- Assist in researching AI tools and innovative digital marketing approaches
- Monitor online engagement and identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with different departments to support communication initiatives
- Contribute creative ideas to improve brand awareness and student engagement
