Our client, an Australian FS powerhouse, are looking to appoint a key role within its Technology Finance division - utilise your commercial acumen, expense management experience, + leadership & influencing skills.

The Role:

· Leading the consolidation and reporting of Technology workforce, FTE and resource metrics for Technology Leadership and Group Finance
· Owning the consolidation of workforce and resource cost results and supporting accurate, timely and high-quality submissions into Group Finance reporting processes
· Acting as a trusted business partner to Technology, providing commercial advice, challenge and decision support
· Developing and delivering meaningful insights to improve business performance, including identification of cost optimisation opportunities across Technology cost base
· Improving workforce and cost transparency through robust financial models, analysis and clear drivers
· Partnering with the business to develop accurate, driver-based plans, forecasts and outlooks
· Driving process improvement, standardisation and simplification across reporting, forecasting and performance management activities
· Building strong, collaborative relationships across Finance, Technology and Group stakeholders to support delivery of strategic and financial outcomes

The Candidate:

• 7 - 10 years' Commercial finance experience within a large corporate in Financial Services or Technology.
• Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in simple language.
• Stakeholder management skills and demonstrated ability to influence a broad spectrum of people to drive key outcomes.
• Academic and appropriate professional qualifications (i.e. accounting qualifications such as CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA).
• Full Australian working rights & fluent English skills
