Job Sous Chef, The Rocks

One Food Pty Ltd operates a venue in Barangaroo. We are in search for a skilled, organised, and experienced Sous Chef to join our team on a full-time basis in our venue Sax Cafe and Lounge Bar.

To be successful in this role, you should be committed to providing customers with both consistent and excellent service. You will also need to maintain excellent kitchen health standards.

Key responsibilities:

· Direct food preparation and collaborates with head chef

· Produce high quality plates, including both design and taste

· Assist with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies

· Ensure that food is top quality, and that kitchen is in good condition

· Work as part of a fun, high-energy team

· Adhere to all food safety regulations and quality controls

Essential requirements:

· At least one-year full-time work experience as a chef

· Relevant Diploma Level qualification or at least 3 years of relevant work experience to substitute formal qualifications

· Exceptional listening and communication skills

· Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures

· Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods

· Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence

· Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment

The annual salary for this position is $80,000 plus superannuation.
