About the Role
As the Marketing & Community Coordinator, you will support the delivery of marketing campaigns, social media content, events, community engagement initiatives and brand projects across Montessori Academy.
This is a hands-on, highly varied role within a collaborative and fast-paced in-house marketing team. You will work closely with centre leaders, educators, leadership teams and external stakeholders to help bring the Montessori Academy brand to life.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both creative and people-focused work and is excited by the idea of being out in the field, building relationships, creating content and contributing to meaningful marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation
- Film and capture social media content across Montessori Academy campuses, including Reels, interviews, events and day-in-the-life content
- Assist with social media planning, scheduling and community engagement
- Support the creation of engaging content that reflects the Montessori Academy brand and community
- Coordinate photography and videography shoots across campuses
Marketing & Campaign Coordination
- Support the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, social and community channels
- Assist with campaign coordination across more than 70 childcare campuses
- Support campaign reporting, performance tracking and marketing administration
Community & Event Engagement
- Coordinate and support community events, expos, grand openings, conferences and family engagement initiatives
- Assist with event logistics, supplier coordination and on-the-day delivery
- Represent Montessori Academy professionally at events and community initiatives
- Support occasional weekend events throughout the year
Stakeholder & Brand Experience
- Build positive relationships with Centre Managers, educators, leadership teams and external stakeholders
- Support a high-quality and consistent brand experience across all touchpoints
- Collaborate closely with internal teams across operations, customer experience and education
Digital & Website Support
- Update website content using WordPress CMS
- Assist with EDMs, newsletters, blogs and promotional materials
- Support content and design projects using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, creative, highly organised and genuinely passionate about people and storytelling.
You will bring:
- Approximately 3+ years experience in marketing, communications, content or brand coordination
- A strong interest in early childhood education, community engagement and family experience
- Experience creating and filming social media content
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A strong eye for detail, presentation and customer experience
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Experience using social media platforms, Canva and content management systems
- Experience in education, childcare, retail, hospitality or another customer-focused industry highly regarded
- Current Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Full Australian working rights
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
