Job from partnerThis boutique studio is looking for an energetic and passionate Architect with experience in boutique Private Residential projects. This studio has a architectural and interior design team, and an in-house construction team - you will be heavily involved in all stages of project design and delivery and collaborate with the build team. The studio has a well-refined modern design aesthetic and are also involved in bespoke furniture and fitting design.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with Directors/senior leadership on multiple projects simultaneously
- Coordinate with consultants and contractors and maintain relationships with clients
- Progress design through DA/CDC stage and produce well detailed documentation packages to construction and site stage
- Resolve beautiful design details and ensure high-quality project delivery
- Present confidently to clients
- Work through concept design and design development
- Develop material and product library
- Manage project deliverables and meet deadlines
Skills and Experience
- Australian working rights and relevant architectural qualifications
- Operating at a level similar to 6-10years of local experience
- Excellent experience gained on all stages of private residential work
- Excellent technical, detailing and documentation skills
- Strong all-round ability and experience in seeing a project through from concept stages to tender and running on site
- Good knowledge of the BCA
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Client-facing presence
- ArchiCAD proficiency essential
- Able to work closely with internal and external teams, provide support for junior staff
