About the role:
- Own and manage a high-volume probate and estate administration practice
- Handle complex, non-standard estates, including lost, informal, or international wills
- Prepare and manage NSW Supreme Court probate applications and requisitions
- Apply technical judgement, assess risk, and determine escalation thresholds
- Lead, mentor, and drive quality across the probate team
- Oversee team output, standards, and growth contributions
- Serve as final authority on complex matters
The ideal candidate:
- 5–10+ years’ high-volume probate and estate administration experience
- Strong NSW probate expertise, including Supreme Court requisitions
- Skilled in managing complex, unusual, or imperfect estates
- Proven ability to run and review large probate volumes independently
- Leadership experience, mentoring or guiding a probate team
- Exposure to trusts or trustee-managed estates highly valued
- Detail-driven, pragmatic, risk-aware, and tech-curious
