Our client is a well-known government organisation dedicated to delivering great customer experiences and simplifying the way customers access Government services.
They are seeking a Accounts Payable Officer to join their dynamic team environment in this contract to start ASAP for 3 months with possible extension thereafter, based in Parramatta with hybrid working arrangements.
The Job
Reporting through to a Team Leader, in this Finance and Accounts Officer role you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Verifying supplier data to ensure accuracy.
- Processing invoice payments for customers in a timely manner.
- Assisting client accounts in a shared services capacity.
- Supporting the finance team with end-to-end invoice processing as required.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
You
To qualify for this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the personal qualities below:
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Previous Government experience will be advantageous.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Able to follow procedures and work independently.
- Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.
