Description of the job
The Donor Care & Regular Giving Coordinator role is to provide best-practice donor care and donor engagement to Wayside Chapel (Wayside) supporters and assist in the delivery of the Individual Giving portfolio. As well as leading the stewardship for monthly givers and, with the support of the Individual Giving Manager, grow and implement the monthly giving program to achieve targets and a sustainable revenue source.
Key ResponsibilitiesMain point of contact for all enquiries to donations phone line and shared inboxesMain point of contact for any enquiries from regular givers including emails, and phone callsProvide exceptional level of service and communications in person, over the phone and via email to donorsAssist with all daily fundraising needs including administration, data entry, receipting and donor engagementEnsure phone, online and mailed donations are processed and coded accurately, and acknowledgment receipts are providedManage all donation mail including actioning any enquiries, return to senders, updates to records in the databaseMaintain current information in databasesWork collaboratively with the data team and Campaign Coordinator to develop and generate detailed post-campaign reports for all IG campaignsEnsure data integrity through all processes and reportingWith the support of the manager, develop and implement acquisition, upgrade, conversion and reactivation activities for the Regular Giving program to meet organisational budgets and drive sustainable revenue growth to achieve the $1.1million targetBuild strong relationships with regular givers through continuous refinement of the donor journey, and be responsible for ongoing communications such as welcome communications and calls, enquiries and proactive donor careImplement and lead an onboarding and conversion to regular giving journey for new cash donors across EDM and telemarketingExecute fundraising email communications, including writing copy, email set up, audience segmentation and deploymentIdentify opportunities to improve acquisition and retention of donors, and manage cancellations/declines to reduce failuresWork closely and assist with the liaison of external suppliers
About youMinimum 2 years experience in a donor care role, or in a customer sales role;Highly developed verbal and written communication skillsSuperior customer service skills, high degree of empathy and ability to represent Wayside Chapel in a professional manner at all timesStrong administrative and numerical skills with the ability to analyse data with attention to detailProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Salesforce (CRM equivalent);Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and on an independent basis;Passion to make a positive impact on the community and a willingness to work within the Wayside Chapel ethos, support its values and advance its mission; andWillingness to work within and promote the importance of Wayside’s WHS policies and procedures.
