As Sales Lead (VP Sales), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth trajectory of Think & Grow. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring a strategic thinker with a proven sales track record and the ability to inspire and guide a team. You’ll lead the charge in acquiring new business, managing key client relationships, and implementing effective sales strategies that align with our mission to be the human connection behind business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture
- Define clear KPIs and targets, conduct regular performance reviews, and support career progression
- Build a team culture centred on client excellence and commercial success
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the client portfolio across tech and innovation-driven industries
- Cultivate and convert leads into long-term partnerships through tailored, consultative sales approaches
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert insights on talent and growth strategies
- Guide the end-to-end sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, proposal development, and negotiation
- Refine and optimise the sales funnel, ensuring alignment with brand, marketing, and business objectives
- Continuously improve sales processes and introduce best practices across the team
- Own and nurture relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client retention
- Provide tailored solutions and ongoing support that help clients meet their talent goals
- Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline metrics, and revenue growth to senior leadership
- Use data to identify trends, measure ROI, and inform sales strategies
- Ensure CRM systems are fully utilised and maintained with accurate, up-to-date information
About You
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or people management capacity
- A strong track record in business development and closing deals in a B2B or consulting environment
- Previous experience in recruitment, staffing, or professional services highly regarded
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales enablement platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field preferred
