About the Role
Pacific Partnerships has an opportunity for a Project Director of building and infrastructure PPPs to join our team.
In the role of Project Director, you will report to the Executive General Manager and be responsible for leading the development of commercial and technical solutions during the pre-contract phase of the highest-profile Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) and other innovative business development opportunities in Australia and New Zealand.
Located in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney the role will include:
Leading the determination of winning bid strategies and bid structures
Leading business development opportunities including client engagement through market engagement processes, industry briefings and unsolicited proposals
Coordinating a team of development, technical, construction, legal and finance personnel along with external advisors
Managing client relationships and steering committees
Keeping abreast of trends and market dynamics across the infrastructure sector, contribute to broader understanding of these trends across the team and have input into strategic plans
Contributing to a team culture of collaboration, innovation, development and mentoring of talent
About you
Tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction management, Economics, Business or Finance
10 - 15 years’ experience in a Construction or Operations contracting business with senior level exposure to PPP/Project Finance projects
Strategic mindset with proven track record of successful execution
Previous bid leadership experience and management of privately financed projects such as PPPs
Highly organised with strong relationship building skills, excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team
Demonstrated commitment to business excellence and continuous improvement
