The Opportunity
The National Employer Partnership Coordinator, First Nations (NEPCFC) will support the National Employer Partnership Manager -First Nations (NEPMFN) and broader National Employer Services team to deliver quality services to new and existing strategic First Nations employer partners to achieve sustainable employment outcomes for our participants.
The NEPC - First Nations will also assist imbed the implementation of the Employer Services strategy throughout the team by supporting the development of policy, procedures, and other related strategic projects.
As directed by the NEPMFN, the primary focus of the NEPCFN will be to:
- Create effective relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Proactively service the recruitment needs of our national/strategic employer partners.
- Source, screen, prepare and match our participants (primarily First Nations participants) to suitable employment opportunities.
- Coordinate and deliver presentations, workshops and information sessions to inform participants of employment opportunities.
- Support participants through the recruitment phases and collaborate with other Asuria team members.
- Contribute to post-placement support to achieve high sustainable employment conversions.
- Comply with program guidelines and measure results for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate employer and candidate records in Job Ready Live.
The NEPCFN will be responsible for supporting the NEPMFN achieve performance outcomes and targets.

Key Accountabilities
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure we are proactively servicing the resourcing needs of our national/strategic employer partners.
- Source, screen, prepare and match our participants to employment opportunities available across the national employer network.
- Coordinate and deliver presentations, workshops and information sessions to inform participants of employment opportunities as directed by the NEPMFN.
- Support the NEPMFN develop employer partnerships and act as a secondary point of contact for employers
- Contribute to post-placement support to maximize employment outcomes.
- Provide feedback and work with Mentors to deliver services to participants who, at times, may display work avoidance behaviour.
What sets you apart from the rest?
- Experience assisting First Nations jobseekers into work
- 2+ years relevant recruitment or industry experience
- Experience in and/or knowledge of developing and/or delivering programs designed to assist First Nations people gain and sustain employment
- Previous experience in Employment Services is highly regarding
- Recruitment experience is essential with exposure to developing and tailoring employment pathways with organisations
- Cert IV in Employment Services preferred not essential
- Recruitment experience is essential with exposure to developing and tailoring employment pathways with organisations
- Demonstrable ability to coordinate successful delivery of multiple competing priorities and/or projects
- Understanding of the Workforce Australia DEED, DES DEED and relevant Guidelines desirable
