Job Description

• Prepare and review secondary electrical design drawings and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and compliance.
• Conduct technical assessments and troubleshooting for electrical systems.
• Support the development of project-specific design standards and practices.
• Ensure designs meet relevant industry codes and safety standards.
• Liaise with stakeholders to provide technical advice and updates.
• Assist in the preparation of tenders and proposals.
• Maintain accurate records of design processes and project documentation.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Secondary Design Engineer Should Have

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in secondary system design, preferably 132kV and above.
• Strong knowledge of energy sector standards.
• A detail-oriented approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
