Your opportunity
Are you passionate about designing impactful services that integrate lived experience, evidence, and expertise?
Mission Australia is seeking a dynamic Service Design & Innovation Business Partner to shape and enhance our service models, ensuring they create lasting change in communities.
In this role, you will collaborate with service delivery leaders, provide expert guidance on innovation and service design, and drive the implementation of national flagship service models.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with relevant service delivery leaders and staff
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the service portfolios
- Provide a primary point of contact for service design and innovation related enquiries and provide expert advice, guidance, tools and resources
- Provide coaching and support to service delivery teams to identify, scope and implement opportunities
- Design and drive the implementation of national Flagship Service Models in line with international best practice
- Work with local staff to critically review and re-design service models for greater impact
- Work with Finance Team to support the development of financial models
- Provide input into priority tenders and proposals as agreed with the National Manager
- Build capacity for human centred design by creating resources, training and capacity building activities
Requirements for success
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly desirable
- Demonstrated knowledge and passion for human centred design approaches, including co-design and person-informed service design
- Ability to implement human centred design work in a community service context
- Proven ability to synthesise and analyse complex information from a rage of sources
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively
- Ability to critically evaluate service performance data and program financials
