- Work with leading automation, orchestration, and cloud technologies
This is a hands-on role, troubleshooting sophisticated technical issues that go beyond first-line support. You’ll work closely with customers, field engineers, and product teams to diagnose, debug, and resolve complex problems, with a particular focus on automation, orchestration, and IT operations management solutions.
What Your Days Will Look Like:
- Troubleshoot complex platform, infrastructure, and automation issues
- Support enterprise customers using ITOM/ITAM tools such as CMDB, Orchestration, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Cloud Provisioning
- Debug Java, JavaScript, and scripting languages (Python, Shell, Perl)
- Administer Linux/Unix or Microsoft Server environments
- Investigate networking, load balancing, and firewall configurations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to report and resolve design or reliability issues
- Strong troubleshooting skills in complex technical environments
- Object-oriented coding skills (Java preferred, other languages welcome)
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages: JavaScript preferred, but Python, Shell, Perl ok also)
- Experience with web application stacks and relational databases (MySQL, Oracle)
- Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, SNMP) and related tools (Wireshark, Traceroute)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate technical details for varied audiences
- Understanding of SNMP traps and MIBs/OIDs
- Familiarity with VMware, AWS, Azure, or Amazon EC2 or automation templates (ARM, CFT)
- Fluency in Japanese (nice to have only)
