Head of Wholesale - Women's Multi-Branded Fashion House
Lead the next phase of growth for a leading women's fashion group with multiple brands and a strong retail presence.
Our client is a respected and growing multi-branded women's fashion house, known for its modern, wearable collections and a strong reputation across both national and boutique retail channels. With showrooms in multiple locations, a loyal customer base, and a curated brand portfolio, they are now looking for an experienced and commercially savvy Head of Wholesale to drive the next chapter of strategic growth.
About the Role
As Head of Wholesale, you will be responsible for the overall development, execution, and performance of the wholesale division across all brands in the portfolio. You will lead a small, dynamic team and be hands-on in managing major accounts, identifying new market opportunities, and building long-term relationships with key retail partners both nationally and internationally.
This is a senior leadership role suited to someone who is both strategic and operational, with a proven track record of wholesale sales success, preferably within women's apparel.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the wholesale sales strategy across all brands
- Build and nurture relationships with major retailers, department stores, and boutique stockists
- Oversee seasonal range showings and sell-ins across showroom locations
- Lead sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting by brand and channel
- Work closely with design, production, and planning teams to align product and market needs
- Identify new market opportunities and drive business development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the wholesale team
- Regularly travel between showrooms and key accounts to maintain visibility and engagement
About You
- Minimum 7+ years in a senior wholesale or sales leadership role within fashion
- Experience working across multi-brand portfolios or vertical fashion businesses
- Strong relationship builder with experience managing major national retailers
- Deep understanding of the seasonal sales cycle, range building, and pricing strategy
- Commercial mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills
- Collaborative, adaptable, and passionate about product and people
- Willingness to travel interstate for showroom appointments and key account meetings
