Informix DBA
About the role:
Informix DBA to support the client system running on Mainframe/Unix, customer facing with good understanding of Database administration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Expected to have expertise in Informix maintenance (patching/upgrading software) in a mainframe/unix environment.
- 24X7 support, shift work and after-hours support required
- Operational and technical support to Application support and management.
- Problem ticket in-depth analysis, troubleshooting, problem resolution
- Operational monitoring, alerting and tuning
- Proactively providing innovative solutions in accordance with modern technologies
- Build and maintain relationships with and advise various levels of stakeholders.
The Successful Candidate
- Informix administration
- Database sustainment including incident management and troubleshooting.
- Working with developers on database improvements.
