About the Role
We have multiple opportunities available for motivated Cruise Attendants / Waiters to join our team here at Journey Beyond Cruise Sydney. These are casual positions with an immediate start. In this role, you are primarily responsible for greeting and assisting guests, delivering premium food and beverage services, vessel and passenger safety, vessel presentation and conducting safety briefings.
The ideal candidate will be passionate and proud of the food and service they deliver and be willing to go above and beyond for our guests, which is crucial in achieving our goal of sharing special places and shaping lasting memories. You will be a team player with strong communication skills, a positive "can-do" attitude. You will be required to work any of the seven days of the calendar week, including weekends and gazetted public holidays.
Requirements
About You
- Passionate and proud about service delivery.
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a similar hospitality/customer service role
- NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card (essential)
- Provide First Aid (advantageous)
- Strong personal presentation skills
- Be highly self-motivated, with great energy and the ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, self-motivated and proactive
- A cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity to the welfare of others
- Have the necessary working entitlements to work in Australia
- Must not be affected by sea sickness
A pre-employment medical and National Police Check may be required as part of this recruitment process.
