Chris O’Brien Lifehouse is a Not for Profit, world-class cancer hospital integrating treatment, research, education, and emotional support under one roof. With 149 inpatient beds, 12 operating theatres, 22 ICU-level beds, day therapy and radiotherapy services, we offer advanced technologies in a purpose-built facility designed to support patients and staff alike.
We're looking for a Regional Care Coordinator to join our Regional Access Program and help ensure that patients from regional NSW receive seamless, personalised support throughout their cancer journey.
This is a unique opportunity to support clinical care while improving equity and access for people outside metropolitan areas.
In this meaningful and multifaceted role, you will:
- Coordinate care, travel and accommodation for regional patients
- Support Head & Neck and Gynae-oncology clinics through expert administration
- Assist with regional education and outreach events
- Work closely with clinical teams and regional partners to ensure patients feel supported, informed and cared for
About You
- Warm, proactive and calm under pressure
- Skilled in healthcare administration or coordination
- A natural communicator who can build strong relationships with patients and clinicians alike
- Experienced in working independently and across teams
Essential Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Intermediate MS 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
- National Police Check (within the last 6 months or willingness to obtain)
- Compliance with Category B immunisation requirements (COVID 2 doses + 2025 Flu Vax)
