Job Senior Project Manager - Secure IT Environment Build, The Rocks

The Project Manager will lead the delivery of a strategic IT initiative to establish a separate, secure IT environment—including a dedicated Microsoft tenant—for a designated business account. This environment must comply with ASD Essential Eight Maturity Level 2 controls and be supplied, managed, and governed in accordance with OFFICIAL classification standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a secure IT environment project.
• Oversee the design and deployment of a dedicated Microsoft tenant.
• Ensure alignment with ASD Essential Eight Maturity Level 2 and OFFICIAL classification requirements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and governance bodies.
• Manage budget, timelines, risks, and change control through to operational handover.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Proven track record delivering large-scale IT infrastructure or transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance obligations (especially ASD Essential Eight).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 tenant creation and separation.
• Experience building or migrating Microsoft 365 / Azure AD environments.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, governance reporting, and vendor management.
