About The Position
Join us for a 12-month maternity leave contract and bring your legal skills to a dynamic, fast-growing Australian business.
At Winning Group, we’re redefining the retail experience — and our legal team is no exception. We’re looking for a commercially minded In-House Lawyer (2–5 years PQE) to join our close-knit legal team and work directly with our General Counsel & Company Secretary. This is your chance to step away from billable hours and apply your expertise to high-impact, varied work in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts (construction, tech, leasing & more)Advise on leasing, consumer law, WHS, employment, data protection (including GDPR), IPAssist with Board meeting prep, ASIC lodgements, and Company Secretariat supportHelp manage contracts and develop legal templates for AU & NZ teams
Qualifications:
2–5 years PQE (in-house experience preferred)Strong communication and a pragmatic, commercial approachAbility to manage competing priorities and work independentlyHigh energy, adaptable, solutions-focused and team-oriented
