The Role
Securecorp is seeking a results-driven State Operations Manager to lead and inspire our New South Wales team.
Reporting directly to the General Manager NSW, you’ll play a key leadership role managing a team of Business Managers and overseeing day-to-day operations across a diverse portfolio of sites. Your strong communication skills, hands-on approach, and ability to manage competing priorities will be essential.
Experience in the security industry is critical. You’ll ensure high-quality service delivery across corporate, retail, and government clients, while maintaining compliance with industry regulations, licensing, and workforce management standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage state operations, including Business Managers and a broad client portfolio
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance across all sites
- Support and motivate teams to achieve strong performance and morale across multiple locations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships focused on retention and satisfaction
- Achieve financial targets, managing P&L, labour costs, and workforce planning effectively
- Design and oversee compliant, cost-effective rosters across diverse sites
- Use Microsoft Office and operational systems confidently, including payroll and scheduling software
- Interpret and apply awards and industrial instruments to staffing needs
- Manage performance, investigations, reporting, and staff development proactively
- Identify new business opportunities and assist with proposals and tenders
- Remain calm and dependable under pressure, including emergencies and after-hours situations
- Actively manage contractors and build new partnerships to meet project demands
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ management experience, preferably in security, events, logistics, or facilities
- Proven ability to lead teams across multiple sites successfully
- Strong client liaison, communication, and negotiation skills
- Confident with Microsoft Office and operational software platforms
- Solid knowledge of P&L management and workforce planning
- Experience interpreting and applying awards and industrial instruments
- Skilled in building compliant, cost-effective rosters
- Calm and reliable under pressure, especially during emergencies
Desirable Attributes
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar security industry role
- Innovative, solution-focused mindset
- Ability to work flexibly under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or related fields (desirable but not essential)
